Mr Shrikumar Suryanarayan or "Shri", as the world knows him, calls himself an accidental entrepreneur; but all his friends and colleagues say he is an entrepreneur at heart and his new venture, Sea6 Energy is pioneering and is potentially transformational in the alternate energy space. "He has not lost his youthful exuberance and his zest for scientific innovation, both of which will steer him to success. I am sure he will not only make me proud but the country proud by realizing his dream of converting seaweed into bioenergy," stated Ms Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, chairman and managing director, Biocon. He was awarded BioSpectrum Entrepreneur of the Year 2012.


Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed

Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed is the Director and COO of C-CAMP, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms. In this role, he manages C-CAMP's technology platforms, growth strategies, strategic collaborations for new technology creation, education and training programmes, business and innovation accelerator unit. He also oversees the Intellecutual Property and Technology Transfer Office at C-CAMP.
Prior to joining C-CAMP, he worked as a Scientist with University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), studying neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's disease. He holds a doctorate in Neuroscience from Max-Planck Institute for Brain Research, Germany.


Dr. Sudhir Sahasrabudhe

Dr. Sudhir R. Sahasrabudhe, is the CEO of Rines Therapeutics and a Research Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Utah. He was formerly the scientific founder of Myriad Proteomics/Prolexys Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and served as its Chief Executive Officer (2007-2010) and Chief Scientific Officer (2002-2010). From 2000-2002, he served as Executive Vice President for Research and Development for Myriad Genetics (MYGN). At Myriad Genetics, Dr. Sahasrabudhe was responsible for finding novel disease targets using the Human Genetics, Biomarker discovery, Bioinformatics, and Proteomics technology platforms. He joined Myriad Genetics from Aventis Pharmaceuticals, where he was Senior Director of U.S. Biotechnology responsible for all biotechnology activities within the United States.


Dr. Anand Anandkumar

Dr. Anand Anandkumar serves as the Managing Director and Chairman of the BOD of the India operations of Cellworks, He is primarily responsible for building up the world wide Business Development and External Alliances footprint for Cellworks. In addition Anandkumar is driving the entry of Cellworks into Industrial Biotransformation and Green Chemistry. Before joining Cellworks, Anandkumar was the founding Managing Director of the India operations of Magma Design Automation, where he was responsible for setting up and driving many aspects of the Operations including RD, Product Engineering, Business Development and links to Government/Academia.


Mr. Ramesh Radhakrishnan

Ramesh has been a member of the founding entrepreneurial team in three startups. He has over 20 years of operational and business experience in the high technology industry, including networking, security and wireless companies. Prior to joining Artiman Capital India, Ramesh was the VP of Engineering at FireEye, a network security company that uses virtualization technology to detect and combat the menace of malware, botnets and crimeware. Prior to that, Ramesh led the systems and software development team at Airgo Networks. Airgo pioneered and invented the 802.11n MIMO OFDM wireless LAN standards and was acquired by Qualcomm in 2005. Prior to Airgo, Ramesh was the Director of the Wireless Access Business Unit at Cisco Systems. This business unit was the result of the acquisition of Clarity Wireless, a startup company where Ramesh led the engineering team that pioneered and created the wireless last mile standard which is WiMax today. Prior to Clarity Wireless, Ramesh was a founding member at ZeitNet, acquired by Cabletron in 1996, where he led the engineering team which made high speed LAN products. Before this, Ramesh was an engineering manager at Adaptive Corporation that brought ATM technology to the LAN. Adaptive was acquired by NET in 1994. Ramesh started his career as a software engineer at Hewlett Packard's Network Division in Cupertino.
