Inclusion of the Abstract in the Proceedings will be based on confirmation of registration and participation of at least one presenting author at the Conference.

Authors of selected abstracts will be notified of acceptance for oral presentations, demos or posters by 15th May, 2013.

Submission guidelines:

Amrita BioQuest 2013 - International Conference on Biotechnology for Innovative Applications employs the EasyChair submission system to receive all submitted abstracts. Please click on the link given below to logon to the EasyChair. If you do not have an EasyChair Account please click on "sign up for an account" in the EasyChair website.

All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Indexing of papers will be processed and submission to internet databases will be done after the conference.

Directions for abstract submission

  • The name(s) of the author(s)
  • The affiliation(s) and address(es) of the author(s)
  • The e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers of the corresponding author

The extended abstract (maximum of 500 words plus references, tables and figures) should be in English.

References:

Citation:

Cite references in the text by name and year in parentheses. Some examples:

  • Molecular mechanisms research spans many disciplines (Nair 1990).
  • This result was later contradicted by Nair and Kumar (2012).
  • This effect has been widely studied (D,Angelo 2011; Diwakar et al. 2011; D,Angelo and DeZeeuw 2009; Nair et al. 2012).

Reference list:

The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication. Personal communications and unpublished works should only be mentioned in the text. Do not use footnotes or endnotes as a substitute for a reference list.

Reference list entries should be alphabetized by the last names of the first author of each work.

Ideally, the names of all authors should be provided, but the usage of "et al" in long author lists will also be accepted:
